A series of jewelry, called “A Wearable Planter” are so tiny that the flower pots on a cord. As the jewelry by Coleen Jordan is a plant, it is natural that it requires a constant care. It needs water and sometimes the soil.
For the manufacture of her products Coleen uses ABS plastic, which is recyclable and doesn’t constitute toxic. The kit comes with an plant-adornment, leather lace and a manual on the care of plants. Her studio has gone from making just necklaces to a broader range of jewelry and whimsical objects.
All of her work is 3D. She is printing and finishing it by her hands. This means that she starts the process by creating everything digitally using the same type of software used by engineers and architects. She then take these files, and send them to a 3D printer. There Coleen creates her designs layer by layer in durable plastics.

Solveig Linke jewelry designer from Germany presents the third technique. She is one of these artists, who creates really exclusive jewelry. She is collecting fresh flowers and perpetuating them in silver and gold. This designer is using a technique of wax casting.
Flowers, which have been coated with wax, in this case introduced into molds of plaster, and later, once the mold has hardened, re-melted, so that a hollow mold is formed, in which hot silver or gold can be poured.
