Recently I’ve been searching in the internet and I have found really interesting french jewelry brands. I find them very special because the entire process of its creation is performed manually. So, today I want to share with you a lot of information about these brands and their talented french designers.

Local craftsmens of Lyon have earned the right to create a rare decoration for world-class brands – Chaumet and Fred, Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier.
Here, in Lyon, the young and perspective jeweler Alaine Rour (Alain Roure) planned to establish his own jewelery company and his brothers – Christian and Dominic were ready to help him in this difficult business. This happened in 1964. His first collection was provided by the public had an incredible success. This success is confirmed by hard facts: The company has today hundreds of stores and over 30 thousand embodied in gold luxury designer creations.

This one is my favourite piece from all his collection. The Ring Staircase won in 1964 in a Diamond International Award. It combines an elegant design with a hints of sophistication.
Roure attaches great importance to family values and traditions, as well as the heritage of the French jewelry. Since its foundation, 50 years have already passed, and decorations of Alain Rour are elegant, perfect and demanded. Even today sketches, casting, assemblage and binding of precious stones are handmade. Final polishing of products is also carried out manually.

History of the brand
From 1964 to 1995, the company manufactured the creations of international jewelery houses in the Place Vendome to Tiffany and N.Marcus in the USA
In 1995, the company launches the “Chut… je t’aime.” Composed of two rings with a message of love, this model becomes the signature of Alain Roure.

In 2010, it was under the name “Roure, the French jeweler” that the manufacturer becomes international brand.
Since June 2012, the Printemps Haussmann in Paris offers the creations of Roure 2.
In October 2014, the Roure company is placed in receivership 3, and does not seem to find a buyer, its website no longer exists and the domain is for sale.

The logo of the brand Romanesque intaglio represents engraved printing, which dates back the first century BC. It is made of gold and carnelian and displays the scene of the Renaissance, as the “Cupid riding a lion“, as well as the image, symbolizing the victory of civilization over inhumanity.

When he looks for a suitable part of old things, he selects the volume, aesthetic and durable piece. That’s why gold is so amazing. Antique Gold is quite clean and has a wonderful color. Leon Hatot’s jewelry brand appeared in the middle of the twenties of the XX century, it was time for change, including in the jewelry world. History of the brand
Leon Ato was born in a small French town of Châtillon-sur-Seine in 1883.He began to study horology at the age of 12. The young man traveled alone to visit the French center of watches – the city of Besancon, and he had been studying during ten years the craft. After that, the young master decided to open a watch workshop that pretty quickly expanded its range by starting to produce jewelry. However, for the promotion of its brand, the young artists and designers had to move to the French capital, where he baught already an existing brand called Bredillard. Products of the young jeweler immediately get the recognition in Paris.

In 1925 Leon was awarded with the medal of the Legion of Honor for his contribution to the economical and cultural life of the country. During this exibition the new name of another contemporary jewelry trends Art-Deco was officially recognised.
