Therefore, the first and almost the most important rule in the fashion jewelry of the 70s is to combine incongruous. Layering is one of the most dangerous trends in the fashion world, and even more in the world of fashion jewelry. So if we are talking also about the combination of different styles, such as punk and boho, many people could feel themselves uncomfortable. But even this has its own romance – romance of freedom and boldness.
At that time fashion was a mixture of glam rock and disco crazy styles. As well as the abundance of fur, bright colors, exaggerated forms and unrestrained merriment. So if you are not afraid of such forms and textures – style of the 70s jewelry is totally for you. In absolute honor were necklaces, earrings and bracelets with pearls. This came into fashion of 70s jewelry further from the epoch the 50s. But this decade has not prophesied brevity and elegance. So that they could cover at least a half of the glove. By the way, today’s long earrings with a huge pearl at the tip is a trend inspired with the very 70s.
70s fashion innovations
The key concept in the 70’s was “antifashion”. It allows you to wear anything. The only condition was – to look abnormally. Brooches have become one more important and even integral part of the 70s wardrobe.
